Monarto 6

Two ancient cultures merge at the Monarto Visitor Centre, designed in a joint venture by Intro and studio-gram

The Monarto visitor centre, a gateway project by local architectural firms Intro and studio-gram, has completed in South Australia.

Set within Monarto Safari Park, one of the largest safari experiences outside of Africa, the new visitor centre is divided into two distinct ribbon forms, one is solid rammed earth walls and the other is lightweight corten cladding.

Located around 40 miles from Adelaide, the building is a celebration of both Indigenous land and African fauna, while also supporting the park’s overall growth, allowing for an estimated 55,000 additional visitors a year.
